CHERRY HILL, NJ, AUGUST 22, 2005 - M&M Realty has announced Dick's Sporting Goods has signed a lease for 50,000 square feet in their Garden State Park redevelopment in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Dick's will be joining Wegman's and several other high-profile national retailers in this highly acclaimed project located at the intersection of Route 70 and Haddonfield Road.
This major redevelopment of the former Garden State Park Race Track is one of the largest overall developments in the northeast and will be comprised of two retail phases, including Marketplace at Garden State Park, a 530,000-square-foot regional shopping plaza where Dick's will be located, and Towne Place at Garden State Park, a 230,000-square-foot lifestyle center that will also serve as Cherry Hill's new downtown. The project will also consist of 1,000,000 square feet of office space, 1,659 luxury residential units and a 150-room upscale hotel. This 233-acre site will enjoy striking architectural features, convenient shopping, world-class restaurants, lifestyle living and open space that includes a 10-acre park with amphitheater. Construction of Marketplace is currently underway and is expected to conclude in early 2006.

First opening in 1948, Dick's currently operates 235 stores in 33 states. The store contains on average five smaller shops ("Store-Within-A-Store") featuring sporting goods, apparel, and footwear for leisure pursuits ranging from football, golf, and cycling, to hunting and camping. Dick's also sells merchandise online.
