For Edgewood Properties, 30 years of building — and giving back

Three ballrooms, approximately two dozen bars and food stations, more than 50 tables, nearly 1,000 guests — and not a single speech. It was classic Jack Morris.

Edgewood’s 30th Anniversary celebration included our “30 Days of Giving” food drive. A total of 1,345 pounds of food were donated by Edgewood’s residents and employees. That equates to an estimated 3,362 meals for needy New Jersey families! The donations were collected from Edgewood’s residential communities and corporate locations and delivered to The Community Food Bank of New Jersey’s warehouses in Hillside and Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

Edgewood also donated $30 for every new and renewal lease secured by the residential teams in February to Elijah’s Promise, a local community kitchen. The teams exceeded expectations securing 223 leases for a donation amount of $6,690!

Principals Jack Morris and Sheryl Weingarten founded Edgewood Properties in 1992, primarily as a single-family home developer. Capitalizing on their success in the for-sale market, Jack and Sheryl have since evolved the company to encompass commercial properties and the development and management of multi-family rental properties and mixed-use communities.

With a current portfolio of 5,000 residential units, 9+ million sq. ft. of commercial space and a strategy to hold the properties it develops for generations, Edgewood strives to create long-term value, not only for itself, but for the communities it serves. We are as committed to affordable housing, veteran housing, job creation and community improvement as we are to providing luxury living and Class-A commercial spaces.
